Why I focused on the pen I use with my M5 system organizer

I've been a long-time user of the M5 system organizer.

It's compact, easy to carry, and can be opened immediately when needed. I love its convenience, so I always keep it by my side, whether I'm out or at work.

Everyone uses their M5 differently.

Some people create pages for journaling or records, carefully reflecting on their thoughts, while others use it as a place to quickly jot down ideas, schedules, or shopping lists as they come to mind.

Aiming for a size that's just right for the M5

When creating a pen for the M5, I made many prototypes.

The barrel diameter that fits into a PLOTTER pen holder is approximately 9mm.

Since being too thick or too thin changes the usability, I designed it with this size in mind.

The length is also 112mm.

This size was achieved after considering the balance between portability and ease of writing.

When removing it from the pen holder, you can gently push it out from below, making daily actions very natural.

Furthermore, the slender 9mm size fits easily into many pen holders other than PLOTTER, giving the entire organizer a neat appearance.

It's a small tool, so I want to be particular about it.
