Today, I'd like to share a little about the wooden pen and system organizer I use and love every day.
The long-time companion I use for notes is SIRUHA's M5 organizer. Its palm-sized portability is just right, allowing me to carry it easily anywhere, anytime. The navy Buttero leather develops a rich character with use, deepening my affection for it each day.
The "partner" to this M5 organizer is a wooden pen made from Jindaikeyaki (fossilized zelkova). Its slim 11mm barrel makes it the perfect size to carry along with the M5 organizer.
For refills, I use Auto's needle point pens. They allow me to write even small characters clearly, and the pen tip doesn't wobble when drawing lines with a ruler, making for a very smooth writing experience.
Even when I go for a walk in the nearby park in the morning, I take this set with me in my pocket.
Walking in nature lightens my spirits and feels truly wonderful. Being exposed to the wind, light, and scent of trees often sparks new ideas and insights, which is very stimulating.
Any ideas that pop into my head during my walk, or seasonal changes I notice along the way, I jot down immediately. The freedom of handwriting and the familiar texture of natural wood make recording small daily discoveries a pleasant experience.
During the day, it's my habit to write down my daily schedule on a daily refill and keep it on my desk.
Having this small organizer and wooden pen makes my everyday life feel a little more mindful.
