This special wooden barrel pen is crafted from reclaimed charred oak barrels, used for four years to age Jack Daniel's "Old No. 7" whiskey in Tennessee, USA.
The black charred surface from the "charr" that lined the inside of the barrels, and the distinct grain of the oak wood with its clear stripes, speak of a depth that can only be created through long aging.

During processing, the charred layer is thinly shaved, so the exterior may appear to be simple oak wood at first glance, but inside, it holds the history that supported the maturation of whiskey.
A certificate card and a piece of charred oak scrap are also included, making this a truly special pen.

The pen fittings are made in Japan, offering a moderate weight and high precision to reduce wobble during writing and ensure long-term, reliable use.
