The zelkova wood used in these pens was stored for a long time in a storehouse built during the Meiji period. Although the exact age is unknown, it is wood that has quietly aged for at least 100 years.

The calm reddish-brown color and naturally developed luster.
The deep expression, slightly different from new zelkova wood, is a unique charm of this material. The texture, which has a sense of tranquility amidst its strength, is something I believe only comes from materials that have stood the test of time.
