For this product, we use zelkova wood that had been stored for a long time in a storehouse built during the Meiji period. Although the exact number of years is unknown, it is wood that has quietly aged for at least 100 years.

Its calm reddish-brown color and natural luster.
The deep expression, slightly different from new zelkova wood, is a unique charm of this particular wood. I feel that the texture, which conveys a sense of calmness amidst its strength, was born precisely because the material has aged for such a long time.

As you use it, the color will become even calmer, and the luster will increase.

For the pen hardware, we use domestically produced fittings that suppress wobbling during writing and can be used reliably for a long time.
