This wood barrel pen is carefully crafted one by one using "Keyaki," one of Japan's representative deciduous trees.
The Keyaki wood used in this product was stored for a long time in a kura (storehouse) built during the Meiji era. Although the exact age is unknown, it is wood that has quietly aged for at least 100 years.

The calm reddish-brown color and natural luster.
The deep expression, slightly different from new Keyaki wood, is a unique charm of this wood. I feel that the texture, which conveys a sense of calm amidst its strength, was born precisely because it is a material that has passed through a long period of time.

With use, the color will further settle and the luster will increase.
