This wood barrel pen is carefully crafted one by one using "Zelkova," one of Japan's representative broadleaf trees.
For this pen, we used Zelkova wood that had been stored for a long time in a storehouse built in the Meiji era. Although the exact age is unknown, it is wood that has quietly aged for at least 100 years.

Its calm reddish-brown color and naturally appearing luster.
The deep expression, slightly different from new Zelkova wood, is a unique charm of this wood. The texture, which conveys a sense of calm amidst its strength, is something that could only be born from material that has aged over a long period of time.

As you use it, the color will become even calmer and the luster will increase.
Please enjoy the aging process, where the expression slowly develops over time spent writing.

For the pen hardware, we adopted domestic parts that suppress wobbling during writing and can be used safely for a long time.
The moderate weight and precision harmonize well with the texture of the wood barrel.
